Our background

Before Pro Forma, our founders built a real-estate technology and marketing company whose customers included some of the country's largest operators — among them Equity Residential, Greystar, Avenue 5, and RPM Living. We watched the renter journey change from the inside.

A decade ago, multifamily marketing was a two-stop trip from ILS to paid search — and both still work. But the renter who fills out a lead form has now spent hours on TikTok, Instagram, and AI tools first, forming impressions long before they ever type a community name. That attention used to belong to no one; now it belongs to whoever shows up there.
